  • Growth Requires Empty Hands

“Growth can’t happen if your hands are full of yesterday.”

After my 50th birthday a few years back, I received a word that stirred something deep in me:

    “Behold, I am doing a new thing…” – Isaiah 43:18-19

At first, I was nervous. Unsure. But also deeply curious. That word marked the beginning of a journey, one that has been anything but ordinary.

Since then, I have stepped out of my comfort zone and into a season of discovery. I have met parts of myself I didn’t even know existed. It’s been a journey of growth, grace, and unexpected adventure.

And just this week, I heard that same word again.

A divine reminder: new beginnings require open hands.

In leadership, in parenting, in purpose… we can’t move forward while holding on tight to what’s behind.

Guilt. Old patterns. Past disappointments. Even past successes.

Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It means making space.

    • Space for growth.
    • Space for healing.
    • Space for the “new thing” God is doing.

So here’s my encouragement to you this week:

    • Be alert.
    • Be present.
    • Be willing to release.

Because the miracle might not look like what you expected.

    But it’s coming.
    And it’s good.

What are you releasing to grow this season?

Let’s reflect together as we start this amazing new week.

  • Legacy Is Built Today

As we start this new week, let me ask you a question that I asked myself over the weekend…

What do you want to be remembered for?

This weekend marked what would have been my husband’s 54th birthday. As I reflected on his life and the journey we walked with our young royals – who at the time of his passing were vulnerable teenagers, now thriving young adults – I was reminded of this truth:

“Legacy isn’t just what we leave behind – it’s what we build into others while we are still here.”

Legacy is not just about wealth or titles. It’s about impact.
💡 It’s the encouragement we give.
    💡 The values we model.
    💡 The stories we share.
💡 The love we plant in the hearts of others

Whether you are a parent, mentor, leader, or creative – your daily choices shape the next generation.

So today, I invite you to pause and ask:
What kind of legacy am I building?

🔑 Let’s live with the future in mind.
    🔑 Let’s lead with purpose.
🔑 Let’s leave something that lasts.

What legacy are you working on?

I would love to hear your thoughts.

  • Embrace the Journey: The Power of Taking the First Step

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of big goals and impressive achievements. However, it’s important to remember that every significant journey begins with a single step.

Remember that starting is often the most crucial part of any endeavour. By focusing on the immediate steps rather than the distant goal, we can overcome the fear that holds us back.

With every step taken, you climb higher and as you climb higher, you will be able to see further. Each step (no matter how small) builds upon the last thereby revealing new opportunities that you could not previously see and contributes to a larger momentum that can lead to significant change or progress.

So, let’s embrace the journey, take that first step, and trust that each effort we make will bring us closer to our goals, visions and targets.

The journey may be long, but with persistence and a focus on progress, we can achieve remarkable things.

    Keep moving. You’ve got this.

  • Living with Purpose:
    Make Every Day Count.

As we approach the final weeks of 2024, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the year and set our intentions for the future. The quote, “The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but life without a reason. Life without purpose,” serves as a reminder to live each day with intentionality.

Living with purpose means more than just going through the motions. It’s about understanding what truly matters to us, setting meaningful goals, and making conscious choices that align with our values. It’s about waking up each morning with a sense of direction and ending each day with a sense of fulfilment.

In these remaining weeks of 2024, let’s commit to living purposefully. Let’s take time to identify our goals, set clear objectives, and take actionable steps towards achieving them. Whether it’s in our professional lives, personal relationships, or community involvement, let’s strive to make a positive impact and leave a lasting legacy.

Remember, it’s never too late to start living with purpose. Use these final weeks to reflect, recharge, and realign your actions with your true aspirations. Embrace each day with intention, and you’ll find that even the smallest steps can lead to significant change.

Lets make every moment count and live a life full of purpose.

Wishing you all a Happy New Week.

  • Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth and Gratitude

As we approach the end of 2024, I find myself reflecting on what has truly been my best year so far. This year has been a remarkable journey of growth and transformation in all areas of my life.

I have made massive strides forward in my spiritual walk with God, my personal growth and development, my career, physical and health goals, financial goals, business endeavours, family life, and my mission to be a blessing to others.

WOW ! It was indeed a year of stepping out of my comfort zone. Doing this allowed me to discover and harness the treasures God has placed within me. I can truly say that even I surprised myself.

2024 has been a year of significant breakthroughs and learning experiences that have shaped me into a better version of myself.

I am filled with immense gratitude for the blessings and opportunities that have come my way.

My encouragement to you, dear reader, as we move towards the final days of 2024, is to take time out to reflect and show gratitude for the journey so far.

Even the challenges we faced were converted into valuable life lessons.

This is me, taking time out to pause, reflect, and thank God and all of you for being a part of my journey.

Here’s to an amazing 2025 filled with growth, gratitude, and continued blessings!
